Know when an individual starts to get out of bed.

The system is air operated and monitors the change in pressure on the mat when an individual gets out of bed. The system only activates when there is a significant pressure change therefore minimising false alarms. The sensor covers the whole area of the bed using a full length pressure mat placed underneath the mattress. It is therefore less likely to give a false alarm than smaller bed monitors. The system works with all mattresses even the specialist pressure releif matresses and profiling beds.

One benefit of the On-Bed monitor is that it can be moved easily between different beds. Pager systems are battery powered and therefore could easily be taken on holiday. The system needs no mains power.

The On Bed mat incorporates a small circuit to make the signal suitable for standard call systems. The Sensor is also available as a complete pager system, either with the standalone pager (Setup 2) or the pager call system (Setup 3).

The mat is 198X63cm in size and is approximately 4cm thick. It is also waterproof.

Setup1- For use with an existing call system (setup1) we will need to receive an example of the call lead used with your call system to ensure compatibility of the sensor's adapter with your call system. This need only be done on your first order and your lead will be sent straight back to you.
