Designed to alert a carer to the repetitive movement associated with a tonic-clonic seizure during sleep. The full-length sensor mat sits under the mattress — nothing is attached to the person — and signals the included wireless pager the moment seizure-type movement is detected, so a carer in another room can respond fast.

How it works

The pressure-sensitive mat monitors movement through the mattress while the person sleeps. When it detects the strong, repetitive movement pattern of a convulsion, it triggers the pager wirelessly — no wires to the bed's occupant, no loss of comfort, and it works with all bed and mattress types.
